Best San Clemente High School Senior and Portrait Photographer
Some of my very favorite work is doing editorial portraits photo sessions. An editorial photo session is where you try to capture the essence and personality of the person or people being photographed. The key is to find something unique that makes that person who they are and have this come across in the photograph. This image is of a family friend who happens to be a standout on the San Clemente Tritons water polo team. I shot these images at the San Clemente pier towards sunset on an overcast day. I love the muted tones of the background and how the ruggedness of the structure helps accentuate this chiseled young athlete. This is a typical image that I would photograph for a senior portrait session especially if the person is involved in afterschool activities such as football, baseball, water polo, basketball, skating, surfing, hockey, soccer, lacrosse, swimming, theater, drama, dance or cheerleading, or many others...This image was taken using a Nikon D4 camera with an 85 mm F1.4 lens.
