Destination Weddings:: Cancun

One of the things I always try and accomplish when shooting a wedding is to relate the B&G with their environment. I figure their is good reason someone picks a particular location to get married. So what is so unique about Cancun? For me, it was the ocean and that crazy blue water. I had an adventerous and willing couple that allowed my to do what I do best. Kick Ass Photos!!!! Wes + Traci :: Outdoor Engagement

Since it’s so damn hot out (102 deg) I thought I would backtrack a bit and show this cool (literaly) engagement session that we did a while back. It was actually Marisa’s client but I tagged along for some fun.

Wes & Traci are big time outdoorsmen and wanted to incorporate that into their engagement session.  We started out at Snow Valley up near Lake Arrowhead for some killer snowboard action.

Jeez, lighten up a bit. If you follow any other photograher’s blogs (but why would you?), you’ll notice they tend to get a bit light during the summer. Why? How often do you get to say “Hey Bruce Willis, get out of my shot”.  First time for me. But that’s what you can expect when shooting in LA and especially at a famous icon like The Beverly Hills Hotel. Lots of anticipation for me with this wedding. Beautiful bride, styling groom and a great location. I knew it would be killer with Michelle from Details Details coordinating the day.

Jeff + Monique :: Long Beach Museum of Art

I have to say that Jeff & Monique’s photos are just amazing. Wish I had shot them. What!!!  That’s right, not mine. We’ve never really done a formal introduction but we have a new star at Joe Latter Photographer. Marisa Torres has been second shooting with me for over 4 years now and is now shooting her own weddings for the studio. Not only is she great behind the lens but she is also the genius behind our amazing albums designs. Great job Marisa!

Jeff & Monique were married at the Long Beach Museum of Art on April 17. Big thanks to Christine Walker for helping us out on the big day.
